On Fighting Against Fear

3 poems

Being Instead

I do not wish to wander
Within my own doubts
Instead to banish them
To take over who I am
My being
My soul
To live without that
Which holds me back

Forced March

Stranded
Though I am able to move
Stuck in a path
Chosen yet decided for me
Unable to break stride
Of this forced march
Can I free myself
Feet from mud
And live life as it is?

Inaction

What am I trying for?
Is it something hope can provide?
No
Hope is foolish without action
A whisper in a loud crowd
Unable to move anything
Effort without effect
I must instead do more
Than wish for a dream
