It’s been a rough beginning of the year for me. There’s a lot I am going through emotionally while trying to keep up with everything around me. Needless to say, because of that, one thing I allowed to lapse is my writing (as though I was doing a grand job keeping it going to start with). And that sucks.

Anyway, it means that I didn’t get to moving on the experiment I wanted to run on Kindle Vella with “The Colton Skyward Chronicles”. It’s basically ready, but it turned out that I was not. Before I realized it, February slipped by. The delay shall not be daunting though! It will still come, although right now the day may or may not be in the next few weeks. And a release schedule for the first four episodes will be somewhat compressed from what I planned, but all that’s up in the air for the moment.

A long climb back (to something) is beginning. Again. Fact is, the hole was never climbed out of, nor has the bottom been reached. Either way, I am gripping onto the sides, planning again to get out of it. Or maybe get to a point where I can keep at a stable footing without falling back, because it seems that I say I am going to climb, start to, then slide back instead — so we’ll see.
