Opposite Motives

a poem

I strive to know how
To push steps forward
Even while progress moves
Directionless to my desires

Shall I give up here and now
Changing my aim toward
Another thing in safer groves
To beat this feeling stuck in mires

Sanity welcomes both in tow
Work and laziness in simple award
Benefits found both behooves
Yet truly only one inspires
