It happened. I missed a day of writing. After 122 days in a row since reigniting a daily writing goal, I had a day where I wasn’t able to write.

I’ve been predicting that I’d get a day like I had yesterday. A day where I wasn’t able to get even a moment to write. I couldn’t even blame yesterday on my inability to manage my time. But oh well.

The whole point of the work I’ve been doing is to overcome obstacles. Some won’t be able to be overcome, such as my day yesterday. As much as I want to assign blame, pout at my hiccup, or get down about it, I am really OK with it. I have to be.

Today is now a new day. A new day to start another writing streak. And it’s a good day to right.
