a poem
Do we understand What is asked of u? To be what is called For within? Or is it a voice To ignore? To avoid? Allowing us instead Our hedonic chase Undeterred As the calling Grows fainter still Behind the noise Of want and pleasure If those brought Any sense of happiness Or satisfaction Digging our graves Deeper While the calling is Of a whisper Can you hear it?
