It’s taken me more than a year. And longer than that if you count more than just when I originally promised what I am about to say. Anyway, as of Saturday, July 1st, I have a new book available!

With a little effort, this will be the first in a few new releases by yours truly as I work to get back into the actual act of being a published writer… you know — publishing.
The plan (although it might change), is to release a short story in ebook next month. It’s only a short story, but at least it is another something to keep things moving as I work to edit and revise a couple of novels to be ready within the next year. Additionally, there will be a novelette in the wings during this time and possibly a novella as well.
The reason I might change the above plan is to give more time between releases. I don’t think that there is anything that will be helpful in releasing books/stories sooner than two or three months for each. Three months actually feels more right to me… maybe. Also, there is the idea of finding a rhythm that best fits my capabilities at this time. Once a month — that’s just too fast. Hell, how can I really justify releasing at that rate when this is only the 2nd work I published since 2016? I can’t. So, that is why the next story may or may not be in a month.
Back to the topic at hand though, the new book features 106 poems written over the last 25 or so years. The title comes from one of the poems featured: Hide.
