“To Make Something”
a poem by Jeremy C Kester
I try to break the glass.
I want to break it.
No thoughts contained inside.
I want them to spill out,
to be seen,
not toyed with,
not admired.
I want them to overflow and spill.
So then maybe by cleaning,
I can make something of them.
