It’s October already. It shouldn’t be a surprise, but even though I knew it was coming, when I awoke this morning, I felt surprised. Is it really October already? Of course it is.
As I get older, those bits of wisdom that are dispensed by my parents become more poignant. I learn that they were good lessons, such as “enjoy today, because before you know it, you’ll be older and wonder where the years went.” But that’s part of life right? Not listening until it’s too late?
Really it’s never too late. As long as we learn it at some point before we die, then at least there are the moments to cherish. Cherish these moments. Because they will be gone soon, hopefully replaced by better moments.
