a poem
Fear not the words
For thought they bite
The teeth they have
Are those only that you give
Fear not the words
As the tiding wrought
Spare those who understand
Pain is but life
Fear not the words
They are not stone
Yet malleable and changing
Bringing what you define
Fear not the words
Instead make them part
Of armor wrought in life
To strengthen through trial
Fear not the words
Instead know that you
Have thoughts too that carry
Pain and misery
Fear not the words
Love them for what they are
Our experience of life
That terrible beautiful thing
