“Drawing a Blank”

What to write?
A question lingers.
As if the words matter
More than intention.
Or action
Or thought
But maybe all are one.
And better to write
Together to bring them
Yet words slip by
Like mist in my grip.
If I could but change them
Solidify them
Entomb them in ink & fiber.
But what to write?
If I could but answer that…
