I Do Make Wishes – a poem

“I Do Make Wishes”
a poem by Jeremy C Kester

If I could let go
maybe I would go somewhere.

I feel stuck
on this single branch
my life
not that it is much
although I do make wishes
that I can pretend
pretend that it is.

I should let go
and see if I land anywhere.
